"If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy". I like it because it reminds me that although Charlie is the head of the home, I am the heart and if my attitude stinks then it just spreads to the whole family. I've seen it happen time and time again. But, if my attitude is good and I'm relying on the Holy Spirit to guide and counsel me, then even if my kid's attitudes are poopy, I can help diffuse situations and keep the peace in my home.
2. If you had to choose one favorite sweet treat what would it be?
Brownies
3. If you had one million dollars handed to you, what would you buy?
Several acres of land in the rolling hills of north Louisiana, build a house on 2 acres to give to my parents and split up the rest of the acres for my siblings.
4. What is a favorite memory of a childhood game you enjoyed?
Playing tag after church on Sunday and Wednesday nights with the other kids at church. We actually called it "chase". Sometimes we played "kiss chase" and "freeze chase". The lamp pole was always base. I remember running on cold evenings until it hurt to breath deeply and I would get hoarse from yelling.
5. If you could do one thing in life over what would it be?
I would go back to my baby's baby-hoods and I would not worry as much and enjoy them more. I spent way too much time worrying and not enough time just savoring the sweet time with them.
6. What movie would you watch over and over again?
Pride and Prejudice (with Keira Knightly)
7. Jeans or Sweats?
Jeans
8. Have you ever shot a gun or ever been hunting?
I shot a handgun the summer I worked in Alaska. A tree thinner we met took us out in the woods by his house to do some target shooting. After shooting it once I knew I never wanted to shoot a gun again. Ever. I would never want to go hunting. I'm not morally opposed to it, I just don't want to shoot a gun again.
I got this from Mer at her blog Life at 7000 Feet

And when you bought your land in LA you'd be close to me!! :)
I love what you said about being the heart and attitude of the home. I'd really never thought about it in that way, but that's awesome...and convicting. :)
Good pick on the movie! One of my favorites :)
What's a tree thinner? I'm from Alaska and I don't know!
