Prayer Requests

UPDATE:
(Nov. 23, 2009)
Thank you for praying.
My Dad ,who has been suffering from sepsis ,is now
doing so much better He has been receiving IV antibiotics,
oral antibiotics and steroids. His fever, which got quite
high, finally has returned to nornal. He still feels tired, which is
to be expected after having to fight off such
a nasty illness. He hopes to be released to go home
in a couple of days.
***********
Please pray for my Dad, Orvell Bryant.
He is in the hospital in Nairobi, Kenya, where
they live and work, receiving IV antibiotics
for an infection that probably originated with a
chronic skin disease my Dad suffers with.
His fever was down this a.m. but he was still
feeling bad. Please pray that he will make
a speedy, complete recovery.
And while you are at it, will you also go to your
left and click on the button that says Praying for
Bennett? Bennett is the son of a friend of ours,
a girl I actually used to babysit eons ago. Now
she is grown up, married and their 2nd born son,
Bennett, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis
shortly after his birth a month ago. They have been
having a really rough week. It looks like things are
looking up but I know they would appreciate your prayers

Thanks for the update on your dad, Angie - He's been in my thoughts. It's so hard to be away from family when that kind of stuff happens, isn't it? Hope your week is full of blessings and an outpouring of grace.

I prayed for both of them, Ang, and you. I love you much, much more than Thanksgiving turkey.

Did you know we have the same maiden name? Hmm...

Hope you and your family have a beautiful Thanksgiving week full of rich blessings that only can come from the Lord.
