Our washing machine is fixed!!! Our friends drove in from Joburg last night and delivered the part we have been waiting for and Charlie put it all back together today. I don't know when last I have been so thankful to wash a load of clothes. Oh, yes I do.....it was 14 years ago, after having lived in seminary housing for 4 years and putting quarters into the washer and dryer (we used $12 worth of quarters each week) then moving into a real house with my own washer and dryer......I was pretty thankful then too. Who knew that laundry could be such a worshipful experience?

Yaaaaay God!!!!!
Did you ever get my "letter" for the meme? I sent it to an email, but wasn't sure if you go it.
I know whatcha mean about laundry being a worshipful experience. It is sooo nice to be able to do it at home.
When we first moved to TX, I was w/o washer and dryer for about 2 weeks - I wanted to hug the Sears delivery guys when they brought the new ones! (I refrained!)
Did you guys live in Carroll Park at SWBTS? I probably could have paid for a washer/dryer twice over with the money I spent on laundry there.
Glad you're back in the laundry business.
