Praise the Lord!

Our washing machine is fixed!!!  Our friends drove in from Joburg last night and delivered the part we have been waiting for and Charlie put it all back together today.  I don't know when last I have been so thankful to wash a load of clothes.   Oh, yes I was 14 years ago,  after having lived in seminary housing for 4 years and putting quarters into the washer and dryer (we used $12 worth of quarters each week) then moving into a real house with my own washer and dryer......I was pretty thankful then too.  Who knew that laundry could be such a worshipful experience?

Yaaaaay God!!!!!

Did you ever get my "letter" for the meme? I sent it to an email, but wasn't sure if you go it.

I know whatcha mean about laundry being a worshipful experience. It is sooo nice to be able to do it at home.

When we first moved to TX, I was w/o washer and dryer for about 2 weeks - I wanted to hug the Sears delivery guys when they brought the new ones! (I refrained!)

Did you guys live in Carroll Park at SWBTS? I probably could have paid for a washer/dryer twice over with the money I spent on laundry there.

Glad you're back in the laundry business.
