Pictures

This is my Tuesday Night Bible Study group. This picture is missing a couple of the regular girls. We said goodbye to 4 of our group who are returning to the U.S. and Canada this week. Sniff Sniff.

Coleson was trying clothes on last week trying to find something dressy to wear to a school function. Just for kicks he tried on his Dad's clothes.....everything fit.....from the shoes to the jacket. He enjoyed posing for me.

The tall one is my 14 year old, the medium sized guy in the middle is not my child but our friend Andrew, the one peeking over his shoulder is my 12 1/2 year old, my daughter is 5 and my 8 year old is the one making gang signs. Yo-Yo-Yo.

Luke was recognized at church last Sunday with all the people who had birthdays in May. He had to stand in a receiving line while the whole church filed by and congratulated him with handshakes and cheek-kisses - Mozambican style - one one each cheek. When it was my turn to greet him he whispered in my ear, "Mom, this is freaky". For our shy Luke this was a big deal.

Luke and Abby's classes recently went on a field trip to a local "zoo" - think farm animals with a couple wild animals thrown in. The only elephant was the one on the sign.

First of all, Abby is getting so old. She won't even remember me!

Coleson is Charlie's size? Crazy!

So what are we going to do in America? I can't wait!

Hi Angie... I saw your comment at Owlhaven, and thought I would say hello. I grew up in Cape Tpwn, and now live in England, and I have been to Maputo! It is lovely to read about your mission, and I look forward to hearing more about your life in Mozambique.

WOW! I can't believe how big your kids are. I can't wait to spend time with all of you! I'm home from our director's retreat for about 36 hours before we leave for Texas...hopefully I'll be able to catch up on email soon!
Love you
