Luke came to me the other day and said, "Mom, tell me again how I look like Dad." He had this dreamy, sweet smile on his face as he listened to me list the things that make him look like his daddy.....the way he stands, his feet, the shape of his toes, his knees, etc. etc.. He adores his daddy and is thrilled that I can see the resemblance.
It made me think about my heavenly Father. Do I look enough like Him that people can look at me and see the resemblance? Are the fruit of His Spirit evident in my life? I so want people to see the resemblance. I want people to look at me and see my Father.

You're back on and I'll add your prayer link too....happy too have you there too!
I questioned if I should take you off. I just read some stuff that made me think about how much I expose my family and didn't want to subject anyone else to that if they didn't want it.
BTW, this was a precious post and made me think if my children see enough of Christ in me.
I saw your comment on amanda's blog and wondered...did you know Susan Matthes when you drove her Mom back in 2002? She is a dear friend of our and "adopted" college student, who lived with us two years. She served there for two year with journey man.
Just wondered. Praying for you all! I love how you like like our Daddy!

Angie...I saw your comment on Baby Bangs and I realized I KNOW YOU! From Ouachita! So cool that you guys are in Africa! My heart is really being pulled there these days. I'm not really sure what all that is about, but am trying to be attentive. We live in Colorado now, and John is in publishing these days. It's definitely a change, but it's where God has us now.

Yea! So happy to re-connect with you, friend! I laughed when I read your comment about my germ-a-phobia. I'll keep that in mind if I ever get to head your way!
