Pray for Katherine

I'd like to ask you to pray for the healing of a young woman named Katherine Wolf. We met Katherine when she came with a team of volunteers to our annual mission meeting in Malawi in 2006 to work with our children. Katherine was so outgoing and beautiful and so excited to be serving God on that trip alongside her husband. She took a special interest in our Abigail and gave her special attention that week.

We recently found out that on April 21, 2008, Katherine suffered a brain injury called an arterial venous malformation (AVM). She has been in the hospital since that time with an original prognosis that left little hope for this young mother.

However, the family has seen God work many miracles in Katherine's life! I just thought I'd try and round up a few more people to pray for Katherine. You can start off with her story here and view the report a TV news station aired about her. From there you can follow her story all the way to yesterday when she was given the OK to move to a rehabilitation center.

So please pray for Katherine, her husband and her baby son.

Of course I will, Angie. I believe God works miracles all the time too.

What a beautiful family - Katherine looks like she would be a ton of fun to be around. I will be praying for her and her family.

I suffered from an AVM after the birth of my third child almost 15 years ago. God is truly a miracle worker, I was completely healed through surgery and lots of prayer. I will keep Katherine in my prayers.
