Silly kids with a camera

Coleson's size 15 foot blocking out the sun.
All of these shots were made by Coleson or Will.

Our friend Steven's pet chameleon.

Our cat Rufus.
He's sporting a cheek injury from a night of "catting around".
His recovery from his various injuries is proof that cats really do have 9 lives.

Tater.  He's 9 years old and likes to lick concrete.

Your Aunt reads my blog and contacted me with your blog address when I wrote about sponsoring a boy in Mozambique through World Vision. I am looking forward to reading your blog!

The World Vision address where I will be sending stuff to is in Maputo... it says in my paperwork that the project name is Namanjivira... I am assuming that must be the town or area that he is in. His name is Bernardo and he just turned 11. He looked to me like he might be a little angry. When I saw that it broke my heart. Then I noticed he has my husband's birthday of Sept 11 and felt he was the one.

I want to know everything about Mozambique! I homeschooled my children and when my girls were in high school and we were studying geography I became very interested in Africa. Particularly Rwanda, Darfur, and South Africa because of the political implications. A dear friend of mine was a missionary to Swaziland when she was single and just returned with a group called Children's Hope Chest earlier this year with her two oldest daughters (she has 7 children ranging in age from 15 to 3). I chose to go with World Vision because of their all encompassing approach to the communities these children are in.

I hope to someday go to Mozambique and meet this boy and his family. I can dream big right? We are in the midst of college and our youngest is still in high school... but I'm still going to pray to be able to go some day.

Hey Angie,

I am behind...very, very behind. What a very beautiful place, where God has you serving!! And your family is beautiful, as well, even with size 15 feet.

Praying for you right this moment.
Love,
Holly
