I'm Back

The last few weeks have been busy with kid's on school holiday, Christmas, travelling, visiting friends, etc. etc. so there wasn't a lot of time for blogging.

We were in South Africa for 10 days right after Christmas for our older boys to attend MK camp and for Charlie, Luke, Abby and me to attend a prayer retreat with other missionaries from Mozambique, Angola and the Indian Ocean Islands. We stayed over for a few days to do some shopping, visit an amusement park and visit with friends. It was a great getaway.
Here are a few photos from the last few weeks:

Luke decorating his gingerbread man.

Will attacking his gingerbread man.

Abby Lechner, Christa Jackson, Abby Jackson tasting their sugar cookies

Luke, Jared Jackson, Abby, and Will waiting to ride the shells.

Mohawk Boy

Abby LOVES ice cream!

All tuckered out

Leaving the park

They used dominoes to spell out their birthday message.

When you're 15 you are too old to blow out your candles. It wouldn't have been too difficult since the only candle on the cake was one in the shape of a 7 (bad mommy - it's all I had in the cupboard!). He licked his fingers and "snuffed" out the flame.

SO glad you're back! Even though it's just really wrong to be wearing shorts in January. Our high tomorrow is supposed to be 12 degrees!

Looks like you guys have been up to some fun! Wow, can't believe your son is 15. I'll be calling you in a few years for some teenage boy advice!

Love,
Meredith
