Attention grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and other interested parties. Below are pictures of our kid's Christmas program which took place last Friday night. The rest of you can move on along to a more interesting blog.
Abby's class went first, reciting the verses from Luke chapter 2 that they had memorized. That's Abby, Esther, Raphael and Olivia. Ugo the other student in her class was late, as usual, and missed their whole performance.
After their recitation they sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas"
Notice how much Raphael and Olivia enjoyed that!
Will's first performance of the evening was in his class skit about a guy (his good friend Karis) who has a hole in his heart. After trying to fill the hole with many different things Will's character comes along and offers the solution to his need - Jesus.

Will also was the narrator for another skit about some shepherds.
Luke's 2nd Grade class performed the classic reading where each letter of the alphabet describes an atribute of God using Scripture. Since there are only 5 in their class each child got to recite at least 5 things. Luke was excited to be dressed as Joseph.
(In case you were thinking he was a shepherd. )
That's Luke, Chidera, Baby Doll pretending to be Jesus, Mafat, Punit, Ahok and George.
In the play about a shepherd looking for the Christ child, Coleson plays a sheperd. In the first scene they are asleep in the fields. (And that's really not my tan bath-towel on Coleson's head. It's a shepherd's head- wrap, thingy, whatchamacalit. )

That's Canan singing. Playing is Mauricio, Coleson and Miria.

I love the pictures from yesterday and today! It's fascinating to see your world. Isn't it great how kids are kids everywhere? The Christmas program looks precious. So are those all the kids in the school? Our school didn't have a program. ;) But they do give lots of "dance" shows. If you want to call it that.
There are just over 50 kids in their school.
I would love to see some of those "dance" shows. What's the name of your school again - The Sandusky Day School Academy of the Rich and Famous?
I love the photos, Angie! I am now FREE!!!! Happy Christmas to you and your family!
Everyones grown so much!
