Praying or Going

I realize that I don't have any idea who reads this blog, but God does. He may have led you here and you may possess a real burden for the lost of the world and want to pray more effectively for them. If so you can visit here or here.

God may even be calling you to join Him in working internationally,in some capacity. I pray that if He is, that you will be obedient to that call and not miss the wonderful opportunities and blessings that He has for you.

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (NIV) Matthew 28:18-20

Even though we have never met... I found your blog b/c of Kecia, I LOVE reading all about your life there. Everytime I read, I know with everything in me that I am supposed to GO somewhere....anywhere. God is using you as a method to continue to prepare me! I can't tell you how much I love your stories. The ones about your children playing and making up all that stuff are so wonderful...and their white shirts...our children would get along very well! And the list of differences...how neat to see the Indian Ocean outside your bedroom window! WOW! And all the fresh fruit....yum. I love your descriptions and insights...and how sometimes its hard b/c of some things, but how it all boils down to the overwhelming peace that comes from being exactly where you know God has for you to be. Doing anything for Him, Who gave everything for you. What a testimony you are...thank you for sharing details about your life...you are such an encouragement to me! ~Joanna

Hi Angie,
I happened upon your blog from someone else's (can't remember who now!) and I stopped and prayed for your ministry in Africa. Thank you for sharing your life with us and for allowing us the opportunity to peek in your window to the world!
Many blessings to you and yours,
Happi in IL

Angie, I've been reading your blog for a couple of months. My husband and I are applying with the IMB, hoping to get to East Africa by next year. I am 44, mother of five children, working daily to know and follow Jesus, and make His name known. I enjoy reading about your everyday life on the field. It gives me hope that we can make it, too.
